In light of the up and coming Belgian fest at max’s, I thought it would be fun to revisit our 2007 and 2008 fest experience.
2007
Highlights: This was our first Belgian fest. Walked from shot tower to Maxes early in the morning on a thick sheet of ice. Return walk was much easier. We started with a pint of cuvee and quickly moved to sample glasses in order to get more drinks in. The place was very smoky then but we still enjoyed it. Also there was Dooge, Lesbians, Firefighters, and ice. Need I say more?

Highlights: Walking from shot tower to the blue moon in the morning. Getting to maxes at opening as usual. Drinking from 4 Belgians samples at a time. Dana picking us up around 4 thinking we would be sober enough to go to dinner.
