Aroma:
Moderate brettanomyces smell fills your nose before you even start sipping.
Appearance:
Pours a dark straw yellow with full head. The head grows rapidly with very small bubbles and retains shape until you start sipping. Bubbles continuously rise from multiple points leaving a millimeter level of head half way through the glass.
Flavor:
Starts with the freshness and chill of a summer ale. Continues with the mild brettanomyces impressions and finishes with even stronger brettanomyces flavor. Little to no detectable hop flavor.
Mouthfeel:
Very light and effervescent. Not much body but enough for the summer.
Overall Impression:
Makes a nice summer beer if you like lighter ales and brettanomyces flavor. The brett flavor is evidentially present but not overpowering. I would rate this beer as a B+/A- when compared with other brett beers.
